The Center for Vocation and Servant Leadership

In order not only to 'explore' vocation, but to create the environment in which our community will, both individually and collectively, hear and respond to God's call - Seton Hall University proposes to establish The Center for Vocation and Servant Leadership. The primary responsibilities of this new Center will be the following:

  1. Administer the IMPACTS 'train-the-trainers' seminars for the Core Group;
  2. Supervise the preparation of materials related to the IMPACTS processes (self-discovery, character formation, transitioning from an instrumentalist view of work to a view of work as vocation; discerning the call to servant leadership) into a workbook for use by the Core Group as they offer the IMPACTS processes to their peers and others within the University community;
  3. Organize IMPACTS retreats and seminars for faculty, students, alumni and staff;
  4. Manage and facilitate the 'SETON CALLS' initiatives.
