Fr. Russell

Rev. J. Russell Ordained a Carmelite priest in 1960.  Doctorate in Systematic Theology from the Catholic University of America and professor at Immaculate Conception Seminary since its inception in 1984. Recent publications on St. Therese of Lisieux, Carmelite Spirituality and Preaching.

"Have we embraced an age of the ‘forgetfulness of God’...an atheism of neglect? The Lenten Passage is fundamentally an invitation to connect more generously with the God who loves us.  Lent invites us to approach the story of Jesus Christ with a heart of faith, to know him not only in his suffering, but in the power of his Resurrection."
